Off-Grid Solar Systems
Complete energy independence with solar plus battery storage — designed for remote sites, agricultural loads, and mission-critical operations.

About this system
An off-grid system runs entirely on solar and battery — no utility connection required. Panels charge a battery bank through a solar charge controller (or hybrid inverter). An inverter supplies AC power directly from solar during the day and from the battery bank at night or during cloudy periods. Every component is sized around your load profile and desired days of autonomy.
Best use cases
- Farms, agricultural pumps, and poultry sheds
- Border outposts, telecom towers, and remote camps
- Tourism resorts and eco-lodges off the grid
- Villages or homes where grid extension is expensive
- Water pumping and cold storage in remote areas
How the system works

Time of day
Flip the switch, then tap any to see how each component behaves.

Daytime: solar powers the farmhouse, runs the water pump and simultaneously charges the battery bank.

Requirements for this solution
- Space for panels and a ventilated battery room
- Clear understanding of daily load in kWh
- Preferred days of autonomy (typically 1–3 days)
- Access for periodic O&M visits
- Optional diesel/DG backup for extreme conditions
Key benefits
- 100% energy independence — no bills, no outages
- Silent, zero-emission alternative to diesel
- Predictable cost over 25 years
- Scalable — add panels or batteries later
- Ideal for locations with no reliable grid
Indian Government subsidy applicability
Subsidy amounts and eligibility depend on MNRE and state DISCOM guidelines and are revised from time to time. AGSM Solar handles the full paperwork on your behalf.
