Solar — Engineering, Procurement & Construction

The engineers who commission India's power plants now commission your roof. One accountable partner from site survey to local DISCOM net metering — for homes, businesses, and industries across India.

Solar EPC installation by AGSM

What is Solar EPC?

EPC stands for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction. It is a turnkey model where one partner is accountable for everything — designing the system for your specific roof, supplying quality components, executing the installation, and handing over a fully tested, grid-synchronised plant with the net meter fixed by your DISCOM. One point of contact, one contract, one guarantee — from the first site visit to the first unit exported to the grid.

AGSM has been an engineering contractor in the Indian power sector since 2007, with 400+ MW of supply, installation, testing, and commissioning experience. Our solar EPC practice brings that same discipline — wind-load studies, proper earthing, and documented testing — to residential rooftops, commercial and industrial installations, and ground-mount plants engineered to perform for decades.

Why choose AGSM Solar as your EPC partner

Power-plant pedigree

A team with 30+ years of solar energy experience and 400+ MW of supply, installation and commissioning — your rooftop gets utility-scale engineering rigour.

Subsidy-safe by design

MNRE-empanelled vendor tie-ups under PM Surya Ghar and DCR-compliant components — so your ₹78,000 subsidy is never at risk.

Built for Indian weather

Hot-dip galvanised, rust-free GI structures with tilt set by wind-load analysis for local climate and wind zones — because a good structure is the most important test of quality.

We stay after handover

1 year of free service under our standard service policy, plus turnkey care of your generation meter, net meter, and safety certification.

Who this service is for

Homeowners across India

3–10 kW rooftop systems sized from your actual local utility bill. A 3 kW system generates 12–15 units a day; a 5 kW system, 20–25 units — with the PM Surya Ghar subsidy of ₹78,000 credited directly to your bank account.

Homeowners across India

Commercial buildings

Rooftop systems for offices, showrooms, hotels, hospitals, and educational trusts across India — offsetting high commercial tariffs, with DISCOM coordination and generation reporting handled by us.

Commercial buildings

Industrial & MSME

Larger rooftop and ground-mount plants for units in major industrial hubs across India — with CEIG safety certification and net-meter coordination as a turnkey scope.

Industrial & MSME

Government & institutions

Tender-compliant EPC for schools, colleges, and public buildings — with the documentation discipline of a firm that has commissioned utility-scale plants since 2007.

What every AGSM system includes

Our quotations itemise every component and every responsibility — no vague "package deals". This is the standard scope of every AGSM rooftop installation:

A-Grade DCR solar panels

MNRE-approved, high-efficiency mono half-cut bifacial panels (550/560 Wp) that use reflected light too — keeping you eligible for the PM Surya Ghar subsidy.

Grid-tie inverter, MNRE approved

Single-phase on-grid inverter with a 7 to 10-year manufacturer warranty, matched to your system size.

Wind-study-based GI structures

Pre-galvanised, rust-free elevated structures (7.5/8 ft) with tilt angle set by wind-load analysis — engineered for local wind conditions, not copy-paste mounting.

Protection & safety, engineered

IP65 rain-protected DCDB/ACDB with MCB, fuse and surge protection, fire-retardant AC cabling, separate lightning arrestor, and copper-bonded earthing with pit.

Complete documentation

Stamp paper documents, online net-meter approvals, subsidy application support, and DISCOM coordination — the paperwork is our job, not yours.

Design, erection, testing & handover

End-to-end execution by our own certified team, tested and commissioned before we hand over the keys.

Transparent about what's not included: the DISCOM net-meter fee and application charges (paid by you directly to your DISCOM), applicable taxes, internet connection for monitoring, and painting work. We tell you this before you sign, not after.

Project roadmap — what actually happens, week by week

A typical residential project in India takes 4–6 weeks end-to-end. The on-site installation itself is fast — our contract commits to a maximum of 15 working days. What takes time is the DISCOM approval and net-meter process, and we tell you that upfront rather than promising dates we can't control.

01

Week 1

Site survey & quotation

Free on-site assessment — roof structure, shading, and your local DISCOM service connection. You receive a clear, itemised quotation valid for 15 days.

02

Week 1–2

Work order & advance

You confirm with a work order and 50% advance. From this point, our delivery clock starts — materials reach your site within 30 days, transport included.

03

Week 2–3*

Design & approvals

System design based on wind-study analysis (tilt set to your local wind conditions), stamp paper documentation, and online net-meter application to your DISCOM — all handled by us.

04

Week 3–4

Supply & installation

Erection of elevated GI structures, panels, inverter, DCDB/ACDB, earthing, and lightning protection. On-site work is completed within a maximum of 15 working days.

05

Week 4

Testing & handover

Full testing and commissioning by our T&C-trained team before handover — the same protocols we apply on utility-scale plants.

06

Week 4–6*

Net metering & subsidy

Your DISCOM fixes your net meter (meter cost paid directly by you to the DISCOM); final 5% payment is due only after it's fixed. Your PM Surya Ghar subsidy of ₹78,000 is refunded directly to your bank account.

*An honest note on timelines: Steps involving DISCOM approvals — net-meter approval and fixing — are outside any installer's direct control and can vary with your local office's workload. Any company promising a fixed net-metering date is guessing. What we control, we commit to in writing: material delivery within 30 days of your work order and advance, on-site work completed within a maximum of 15 working days, and follow-up on your DISCOM application until the meter is fixed. Your final 5% payment is due only after that happens.

Warranty & support, in writing

Every AGSM installation carries a 10-year product and 30-year performance warranty on panels and a 7 to 10-year warranty on the inverter, direct from the manufacturer, with 1-year warranty on protection accessories. On top of that, you get 1 year of free service under our standard service policy — and we take turnkey care of your generation meter, net meter, and safety certification, so the system performs on day 9,000 the way it did on day one.
